Strong high pressure will persist across the region reaching record strength by the middle of the week. Temperatures across the lower deserts will also increase into the triple digits starting Wednesday. Not only will all-time March temperatures be broken (and likely April as well), but also the earliest occurrence of 100 degrees in the Phoenix area.
