High temperatures running 4 to 8 degrees above normal will be common through the middle of this week, resulting in widespread moderate to locally major HeatRisk. Temperatures will cool closer to normal by late week. Isolated thunderstorms will remain a threat across terrain features through the mid-week before much drier air by the latter half of the week ends storm chances completely.
