The combination of clear skies and light winds will pave way for cold early morning low temperatures both Friday and Saturday across the region, with the coldest rural areas and higher terrain zones dropping near to below freezing. Freeze Watches are in effect for the some of the higher zones east of Phoenix and northwest Maricopa County for Friday, with the watch extending into northern Pinal County and southern portions of the Phoenix metro as well as La Paz County for Saturday.
