A dry cold front will move through the region overnight tonight through tomorrow bringing breezy to windy conditions to the region. The highest wind gusts will be across SE CA and the Lower CO River Valley, where wind gusts of 25-35 mph are possible across the valleys and gusts of 35-50 mph are possible across the higher terrain and ridgetops. Due to these windy conditions a Wind Advisory has been issued for portions of SE CA. It goes into effect at 3am PDT Friday morning and goes through 1 pm PDT Friday afternoon. The strongest winds are expected to occur from 4 AM to 11 AM Friday morning, resulting in localized blowing dust/sand and difficult driving conditions, particularly for high profile vehicles.
