Look for warming temperatures and dry, relatively quiet conditions through at least the first half of the work week. A weather system is then expected to move off the Pacific and over/near the forecast area during the latter half of the week. Plenty of uncertainty remains with the extent of rain chances, potential rainfall totals, and the potential for thunderstorms (particularly Thursday afternoon). However, rain chances on Thursday have risen slightly and sit between 10-40% for portions of the South-Central AZ lower deserts and up to around 40-60% for higher terrain areas across eastern AZ.
