Weather Outlook Wildfire Prevention Tips
Afternoon high temperatures will remain in an above normal category through Saturday, hovering near 100°F for the typically warmer lower desert locales. A more potent weather system will dive south into the Interior West this weekend, increasing winds regionwide and likely leading to elevated to locally critical fire weather conditions. Temperatures will also cool down to around seasonal averages by Sunday as a result, with afternoon highs likely around 90-95°F across the lower deserts into early next week.
